7-Week Implementation Programme

Implementing Twinview into your building is a relatively quick and easy process.

We have designed a 7-week implementation and onboarding programme that our implementation team follow to ensure maximum efficiency.

Requirement Gathering

The first task we will undertake after the appointment is to host a series of Workshops with the various stakeholders and the project team. Although most of this work may have already been undertaken before the appointment, these workshops are to get more detailed user requirements and technical capabilities before starting the implementation process.

These workshops normally consist of the following as a minimum:

Client Workshop

This is to understand what insights and use cases the client wishes to get from the digital twin. This will help us understand what data streams we require to integrate into and what reports and dashboards to create to enable these. Although it's possible to configure the dashboards yourself, we like to create a core set of dashboards and reports so that you get the value on day one.

FM & Operation Team Workshop

This is a workshop with the facilities management and operational team to understand how they manage/propose to manage the facility. This allows the implementation team to configure the Digital Twin specific to your own processes and workflows so that the Digital Twin works on day 1 with the current workflows, processes, and terminology. This allows us to configure a number of default dashboards and reports to suit the team's requirements.

IT, Network and Security Workshop

This is a technical workshop with the building's IT team to allow us to understand the building network infrastructure and security considerations. While we will have already designed and proposed the integration architecture and methodology as part of the Data and Integration Requirements document, this is to go into the low-level detail and specifics on the network integration and perform the necessary tasks to get network access to allow us to deploy Twinview.

Deployment and configuration

This activity involves deploying your project environment and the associated infrastructure. At this point, we will configure any custom branding requirements, data storage, host regions, backup policies, and data retention rules. Depending on the hosting chosen, this process generally takes one day to a week.

Model checking and onboarding

If your project uses 3D BIM Models, we will onboard them onto the platform at this stage. We also perform a number of checks to ensure that the models are error-free and set up correctly so that maximum information and data can be extracted. You can see the process we follow by downloading our Model Best Practice Guide Here. Once all models are validated, we upload them to the project.

Project Configuration

Once all the models are uploaded, we will finalise the project's configuration.
