Project Initiation & Onboarding

How your Digital Twin is born!

When you purchase Twinview, our dedicated onboarding team or partners will help you set up your project. This includes configuring your Twinview environment and setting up the initial project to ensure a seamless start.
Your Twinview Customer Success Manager, in collaboration with the Technical Onboarding Team, will oversee the onboarding process. This involves:
  1. Project and hosting environment setup.
  2. Initial model upload and integration of associated sheets into Twinview.
  3. If applicable, migration of your asset/building data into Twinview from an existing CAFM platform.
  4. User roles and permissions are set based on your organisation's needs.
  5. Assistance connecting IOT data streams into Twinview's data ingestion service if you are on the Analytics package.
  6. Customisation of reporting and dashboarding to suit your use cases.
  7. Comprehensive onboarding training.
In some instances, your account manager may provide Partnership Training, enabling you to upload and onboard the project independently. This specific onboarding process is not covered in this documentation. Please consult your Twinview account manager for more information on Partnership Training.
The typical onboarding process includes, but is not limited to:
  1. Creation of a 'Digital Twin Implementation Guide Document' and associated strategy.
  2. Client and project creation on Twinview, with the project associated with the tenant.
  3. Upload of supplementary models to Twinview.
  4. Project environment settings setup.
  5. Default user roles, permissions, and views definition.
  6. Creation of organisations and user invitations.

If your project includes the 'Twinview Manage' module, additional steps include:
  1. Maintainable assets definition.
  2. Default ticket, asset, issue, and maintenance job categories are set up.
  3. O&M documentation uploaded to Document Vault & link creation using query builder.
If your project includes the 'Twinview OT Analytics' module, additional steps include:
  1. Deployment of a virtual or physical gateway on the project, including configuration of required protocols or integrations.
  2. Gateway security certification for secure communication with Twinview.
  3. Creation of IoT data stream devices in Twinview.
  4. Customisation of dashboards, reports, and workflows based on client requirements.
  5. Load testing and security hardening on the integration.
After you complete the implementation, your Twinview Customer Success Manager will continue working with you to ensure you derive maximum value from your Digital Twin.
