Creating a Section

Let's get slicey slicey!

The sectioning tools in Twinview facilitate the creation of cut sections in the 3D model, enhancing the ease of interaction with the model. Two primary types of section functionality are available: Section Planes and Section Boxes.
Section planes and boxes can be preserved by saving views in the 'View Tab' of the information palette. This feature is valuable for storing sections for future use or swiftly accessing specific views, such as 3D floor views.

Section Planes

Section planes can be accessed through the Section tool button in the bottom View Toolbar. This tool enables the cutting of a single section along a designated plane. Once activated, the section can be easily adjusted and manipulated using the on-screen transform tools.

Section Box

The section box can be accessed by clicking the Section tool button in the bottom toolbar. It provides a 6-sided cropping box that allows you to section your model effectively.
By default, the cropping box encompasses the entire model. Nevertheless, each section face can be individually adjusted by clicking on the face of the section box and utilising the yellow arrow transform tool to push or pull as desired.
